Some gentle acoustic guitar, a burst of thunder and then some chugging, grinding guitars and two singers, one who bawls and one who growls. So begins "Age Of Innocence (featuring Chad Paramore of Messengers)" and though this cut won't be to everyone's tastes I found it a pretty exciting example of hardcore. The same goes for "Seek (featuring Noah Friend of World Of Pain)" which with its truly frantic guitar and its frequent tempo changes could almost pass for a thrash metal '80s gem. The other four cuts on this EP from the Orange County-based band are pretty good as well and with crisp production and what the press release describes as "sludgy breakdowns" this is one hardcore release devotees will want to search out.
