This is Julius' second release, featuring two of his songs, in a kind of modern rare groove style. Similar to the British group Incognito. There's cool brass, jazzy electric guitar, tight drums, flowing bass and close harmonies from the backing vocals. Julius offers a clear lead vocal, though perhaps a little thin in texture compared to the rich backing of the band. The band arrangement is generally good, but sadly unvaried: no light or shade, no contrasting bridges or breakdowns, which is a bit tedious for the six minute title track. "Created In His Image" is the other offering, sharing a similar style and lyrical content to its neighbouring number. I'm sure it's not meant that way, but the lyrics start to sound a bit egocentric after awhile: "Divine nature in me shines on my pathway getting brighter." Perhaps focussing more on the Creator rather than the created image (no matter how good it may be) would help to redress the imbalance felt by the listener?
