Reviewed by Trevor Kirk I met Kees at the 37th Gospel Music Association Convention in Nashville, Tennessee, and was able to experience in one of the music showcases the talent of this charismatic Dutchman, who is a singer, songwriter, worship leader, speaker and one of the plethora of artists to grace the stage of Calling All Nations. Kees got his big break when one of Holland's Christian music legends, Ralph Van Manen, signed him for his backing band, and Kees and Ralph collaborate on songwriting and tour together all over the world. The concert part of this DVD runs for approximately 54 minutes, and the extra features include an interview in Dutch with English subtitles, stuff from behind the scenes, uncut stadium footage and a promo for WorldVision. The material is mostly Kees' own, although "All That Matters" by Eoghan Heaslip, Paul Field's "God Of The Moon And Stars" and Tim Hughes' worship anthem "Beautiful One" all make an appearance, and it's easy to see why Noel wanted Kees to be at Calling All Nations. Unfortunately, there appears to be a synchronisation problem, because from time to time the sound doesn't fit the pictures, but even with that caveat, this is still an uplifting worship experience.
