First reviewed in CR58 and originally released back in 1999, this has now been taken on by Fierce!. And no wonder, for this is simply one of the best singer/songwriter records in recent years. One of Kendall's strengths is her honesty coupled with her uncanny ability to translate it to song. It would be hard to pick a standout, such is the quality on offer, but "Closer To Myself" and "Perfect By Thursday" (which all ladies will relate to) are delightful radio-friendly pop, "Supermodels" is brilliant, witty, Alanis-like fare and there are delicate vulnerable ballads such as "Honest" and "Fatherless At 14" to challenge and inspire. Basically, every cut a winner and an album to cherish.
