14 tracks on a debut private release tends to be more than can be taken in one go. Especially when there's not a lot to distinguish one track from the next. Unfortunately the musical content from this newcomer from East London tends to have the feel of a high school project, using tired old sounds and lacking quality studio effects which would be known to more experienced producers. Having said that, it is a good first effort and obviously took a lot of time and energy. The rapping and singing deserves better, but what lets it down is the poor diction meaning that even during some of the more worshipful numbers, some words are impossible to interpret. And the rapping tends to fall into old school cliché territory a bit too often, while the delivery is not always spot on the rhythm: perhaps a few too many words in some of the lyrics? So Kenny and his female backing singers should hone their gifts and gain more experience, then see if they can take the scene by storm. A good start, but maybe a bit premature.
