An extremely lively, bright, cheerful album performed with great gusto by the Kids Praise Company. A good mix of new songs along with some favourite traditional ones. I have to say that I thought the title was a little off putting and would probably not, under normal circumstances, have given it a second look, let alone a listen, but how misleading titles can be. I actually enjoyed what I heard and have listened again and again - my own children were keen too! It's the sort of music that gets you up and moving, real foot tapping stuff. However, the old hymn "Battle Hymn Of The Republic" gets my vote as number one song on the album, performed with great enthusiasm, I couldn't help but join in. Perhaps I'm getting old but the old ones certainly did seem the best. Also included for anyone interested are "Onward Christian Soldiers" and "Stand Up, Stand Up For Jesus". A real treat and well put together, accompaniment and arrangements are first class. Let's have Volume 2 please!
