The Kids are part of YWAM's international ministry giving children and young teenagers the opportunity to develop and express their faith through evangelism. Catch them at a concert hall or a town park near you soon. This album produced by old reliable Paul Field is hearteningly today's music, helped in no small part by a good set of songs largely borrowed from American CCM (Michael W Smith's "Love Crusade", Steven Curtis Chapman's "For The Love Of The Call") and praise and worship (Andy Park's wonderful re-working of "La Bamba", "O Lord, I Want To Sing Your Praises" and Rick Founds' "Lord I Lift Your Name On High"). Judging from Julian Wiggins' wonderful sax outro on "O Lord, I Want To Sing Your Praises" the band had a ball, the kids sing in tune and DON'T sound cute (take note our American brothers) and this well executed album will delight many.
