This is Canada-born Lacy's debut EP featuring five songs that would easily fit into the same musical category as Salt Of The Sound and in part Karen Money, with its meditative, contemplative feel. Now living in the peaceful hills outside Nashville her music has a gentle, rural lilt. Lyrically, one of the first things to strike the listener is her honesty while reflecting a heart of worship and dependence. Wrapped around this is a voice as smooth as silk, ideally suited for the highly textured music which features throughout the collection. Worship forms the basis of "How Much" and "With Joy", while the honest lyrics of "Too Late For Me" and "What If You Stayed" are refreshingly heartfelt, and you feel you are in earshot of personal prayer. This is a beautiful debut.
