With the opening lyrics "I was knitted together like a cable knit sweater" you just know that 'Secrets Of The Universe' is going to be a fun and quirky pop rock. The Lads, (Steve, Mark and Bjorn) have produced tracks full of rocky guitar riffs and pop drumbeats, which wouldn't sound out of place in any McFly or Busted CD collection. Evangelistic themes are all present and correct in the lyrics, for example "International Mystery Man" talks about Jesus being a "supernatural and unpredictable" person who has come to save the world and songs "Astronaut" and "You're A Star" offer the young listeners encouragement. Fun interludes come from "Dennis Driver" and "Mrs Millard", the latter spookily sounding like Dame Edna Everage - very funny! The band have also given the Rich Mullins oldie "Sometimes By Step" their own little twist. Accompanying this album is a comic book with cartoon depictions of the band detailing the antics they get up to. Welcome back Lads!
