I enjoyed listening to Laura's five songs. Her melodious voice, backed by some able musicians, has produced an endearing little album. The mood is intimate, quite private, as she sings out her love for the Lord. Some of the words are indistinct {run together) but the themes are quite clear. "Listen" would sound fine on Christian radio, although this is generally a CD for private devotions. As a songwriter, Laura wants to draw people closer to God and this album does just that, with the help of her family and Chris Beds, "who was so patient with me in the recording studio."
