By and large on the easy listening side of R&B, Lisa and her husband Michael A Brooks (who wrote all the material, produced, played keyboards and helped with the programming) present a good value 53 minutes' worth of average to reasonable listening. Production quality is perfectly acceptable, but Lisa's vocals are a bit wobbly here and there, the songs are repetitive and monotonous at times, and lack any real teeth. So there's little to get the pulses racing. Give me some gospel fire every time.

I will have to disagree with the person who wrote this review. This is an excellent record. If you are a true Commissioned/Witness fan you'll know he writes God's word and he's an excellent producer. Her brother assisted in production too.i bought this when I was 16 I had my first car. When I had to bring 100 CDs to the car. Michael A. Brooks and John P. Kee are the reason I learned how to play the keyboard by ear at age 21. I love this record. The chords, the drum programming and his sound doctrine.

I am disturbed to have read the comment concerning this woman of God! To say the least gospel music is not designed to give you goose bumps, it was created as a tool to assist in ushering in the presence of the Lod into your own sanctuary. This cd has gotten me through many hardships and trial in my life. I did not need goose bumps or fire in that season of my life. I needed ministry and that is what I received from this artist. To say the least, we should encourage those that are trying to do what God has called them to do and in doing so, let's come to the realization that we too have not and will not always please people. Nevertheless, when heaven says amen, that is all that truly matters. So let's be a little more careful about the ministry gifts that God has given His people.
