Dear Lou,
We met at a christian convention in 1978 and we were writing to each other for a while but have since lost touch(i was at art college in Taunton at the time). If you ever read this and remember me,send me an e.mail.
God bless,Paul.

Hi Paul, I hope you're well over in France?...
This is one of the strangest things - I haven't seen you for many years, sadly probably not since your brother Richard's funeral. Here I am on the ferry to work, thinking back in reflective mood and searching music from way back on the net... Lou Hayles songs and album came to mind and I had just remembered that you were also at that GNC Youth Weekend and if i remember had been through a difficult time.... So as I looked up Lou Hayles music I saw your message to her... Not sure if you will ever see this message, but am consistently in touch with Andy, less so Don. Drop me a line if you do receive this message. All the best Ian Godfrey (ian@irg.hk)

I saw Lou Hayles when she first performed her solo album at the Christian booksellers convention in London. Simply wonderful songs, full of meaning and depth and very melodic. I wish she had done more albums but I think the razzmatazz of the 'then' gospel scene was not her bag. She was great though and I remember that night still as this lovely girl sat down at her piano and sang her terrific songs. Great talent.
