This album has a totally "delish" ethereal sound throughout. It is the kind of music you can slip into and find total relaxation, inspiration and soothing for your troubled soul. All that is needed to complete the experience is a deep, hot bath and candlelight! Whether lona's Mike Haughton, who plays soprano sax, has had any huge input into the creating process is not apparent but some of the riffs are definitely in the same vein as his previous work. Although slightly predictable, with no surprising corners to satisfy my sense of adventure, the musicians are competent (no disappointments here). Having incorporated lots of traditional acoustic instruments, the music is given a natural, ethnic influence. Certainly, the strong rolling rhythm with sensitive keyboards is evocative of natural sounds in creation and could easily inspire the most weary pilgrim to worship.
