Martin, from Yate, near Bristol, has been involved in Christian music for over 30 years and has more recently begun focussing on writing worship songs. Listening to this album one can hear Martin's sincere heart and passion for God but while all the songs here are based on sound theology I feel the lyrics are a bit too clichéd. Also on the downside are some overdone acoustic guitar effects coupled with some serious vocal tuning issues with the backing singer. These things, and a few pronunciation difficulties, make it very hard to focus on anything else. So, although I did enjoy the electric guitar on "Let Your Spirit Flow" and the solo on "Seize The Day" worked well to begin with but lost its way later, this is an album with simply too many defects. So, although one can appreciate all the time and effort Martin has put in to making this CD one can't honestly recommend it.

Though I agree there are some defects in this CD,
having heard Martin sing live, He has learnt and grown from producing this CD. The Worship songs He is now producing carry the anointing of God, and He has moved to singing solo with just an accustic Guitar. Given the right support I believe Martin has the potential to go on and write Worship songs that will help Christians in there worship to God.
