Despite being an enthusiastic follower of Erica Campbell and Tina Campbell since they first stunned us with their "Shackles (Praise You)" mega-hit of 2000, such is my aversion of reality TV that absolutely nothing would get me watching Mary Mary's TV show on the WE channel. Therefore the caption 'Music featured in and inspired by the WE series' did nothing to encourage me to put this on the CD player. Actually though, it's well up to standard being largely remixes or remastered versions of some of their biggest hits including (of course) "Shackles", "And I" (featuring Kirk Franklin), "Can't Give Up Now" and "Dirt". Sometimes the remixes add little or nothing to the originals, an example of this being "God Bless". It's the two new tracks which most potential buyers will be most interested in, with the title track having some challenging lyrics in the second verse ("It's alright to crawl before you can walk/It's alright to walk before you run/But if you wanna get what you've never got/You gotta do something that you've never done/Go get it"). The other new track, "Sunday Morning", is a declaration of how the Campbells love church done over a reggae rhythm.
