Nancy from Wiltshire has been writing songs for five years and has wisely linked up with the hugely talented producer/engineer/muso Phillip Goss (As If...) to turn in a bright perky pop-gospel album. Its best moments, like the hauntingly worshipful "Lord And Friend" with Nancy singing of her love of Christ across a delicate tapestry of harmonies is quite beautiful. Her pure toned voice is less suited to funky pop ala "Love Inside" but the standard of production is far higher than normally associated with private recordings and I've a hunch that these songs of devotion will minister to many hearts.
