NewSpring are a church movement based in South Carolina with various church plants all around the state. The 'Difference Maker' EP was created to help encourage other churches with songs recorded to "build the church brick by brick." The four-track EP opens with "Now And Forever" which features a synth keyboard as the lead, later joined by guitar and yet more synths as well as vocal effects. This is overall an enjoyable track with worshipful lyrics and a good arrangement. "Love Me Like That" is a song recorded by NewSpring in 2013. This is a dance-inspired track with synths, electronic drums and a strong male lead. Pad and keyboard open "Every Line", with lyrics asking "Where would I be, where would I be without you?" The group's version of the popular hymn "When Peace Like A River" features an acoustic guitar as the only instrument and NewSpring do this powerful evergreen justice. All in all pretty uplifting stuff.
