Captured here are five years of pioneering worship recordings from the New Life Church based in Colorado Springs, illustrating how quality songs, gifted worship leaders (Ross Parsley, Jared Anderson, Glen Packlam and Jon Egan), and crisp, modern production, has touched many lives. Contained here are "Beautiful" originally on 'I Am Free', Jon Egan's beautifully written "Here In Your Presence" from the 'My Savoir Lives" project and the outstanding "Rescue" from 'Desperation' are all quality worship tracks. The companion DVD is of a high standard, containing live video performances, lyrics for worship services put together in an original way and also a teaching excerpt. Many of the songs on the DVD are also on the CD although there are additional tracks originally featured on the Desperation Band's 'Who You Are' album. This church has been in the forefront of the World Church's worship resources (check out the excellent Worship Tools series for example) and this collection shows why.
