It took producer Ibe Giantkiller working with veteran British singer and rapper Ni-Cola to take "Blessed Assurance" (also known as "This Is My Story"), a revered Fanny Crosby hymn written in 1873, and, on this single, turn it into a funky dance floor delight, and one which sounds good on the radio. Just shows that a good song, like a good story, is timeless.
