Nick and Becky Drake are a husband and wife team who lead worship at St Paul's, Hammersmith, and also lead worship at the annual New Wine celebration. This is the Drakes' fourth album and their passion is to see children and adults worshipping together rather than hiving the kids off for their own separate worship times. In the past, several have tried but few have succeeded in delivering all age worship and in the main 'Unique' is an excellent stab at a hard-to-achieve blend of appealing pop production and songs which will make sense to congregations young and old. The lyrics are simple but often pack a powerful message, like the stripped back feel of "Take The Plank Out". Other standouts are "He Is Here" which looks at characters in the Old Testament and how God relates to the individual while the title track states the simple fact that we need to view everyone as unique creations made by God.
