A very generously filled CD (over 65 minutes) of classical music, arranged for flute and either harpsichord or piano, with a bit of baroque cello thrown in. Nicola has a fluid style that goes well with the material, which covers three centuries of music, from Bach, Vivaldi, Handel and Faure to Prokofiev and several names I don’t recognise, and Nicola chips in with one of her own pieces and a couple of arrangements, including "The Londonderry Air". Whilst the album is not directly Christian in content, one of the tracks is a theme and variations on "Praise My Soul The King Of Heaven", and Nicola says that the aim of the CD is to encourage meditation, with appropriate Bible verses printed in the sleevenotes as a focus. Very enjoyable and recommended.
