London-based Reyach Records is a new Gospel label introducing some new music into the British scene. This first three-track CD from Niki Carless presents us with two versions of the title cut which is based on Psalm 121. There's a cool slow groove version that kicks things off before kicking into the stronger, more upbeat version of the song which has a clubby feel to it. Finally, the third track is simply Niki narrating a testimony of where God came through for her and worked a miracle when her car broke down. Ironic for a singer called Carless eh? Good solid production and Niki clearly has talent in both the songwriting and vocal departments so this acts as an appetite whetting introduction to a new British voice. I wanna hear more.
