This CD is covered in American flags, but I think their major influences are more likely to be found on this side of the pond. One.21 unashamedly pump out Clash-style, old school punk, one song was so close to "I Fought The Law..." that I was expecting to see a joint writers credit on the sleeve. The lead vocals occasionally take a tone not dissimilar to a very angry Bob Dylan after inhaling the contents of a helium balloon, which is surprisingly effective. Even the awful vocal mistakes throughout "Building Better Bombs" are soon forgiven as this album has a great overall feel.
