These are exciting times. Since becoming a Christian a few years back I've heard words like revival and didn't understand. Now I see a mighty move in music and we'd better put on the whole armour of God because we're marching straight into the enemy's camp here. This is just one of many CDs I've heard lately that made me feel this way. On to One 2-1 ("For to me, to live is Christ, to die is gain." Phil 1.21) If you love Jesus and like punk, this belongs in your collection. These guys pull no punches: musically they remind me of GBH and the Angelic Upstarts and lyrically - Spirit filled Christians with a heart for the lost spreading the word the best way they know how. The album kicks off at 100mph with "Morality", "Morality without Christ eventually has its price." Next up comes "Venit, Victarium Fuit, Vicit (He Came, He Died, He Rose Again)". I think you see the band's stance from these quotes. I could run through each track but space does not permit though I will add, they address the issue of selling out brilliantly, "I've been selling out all my life when I turn my back on Jesus Christ." After a rousing cover of "We Gotta Get Outta This Place", there's a wonderful extra treat to end with.
