In their own words Onething is a young adult ministry based at the International House Of Prayer in Kansas City. Overall production is overseen by International House Of Prayer president and director Mick Bickle and is released through the associated Forerunner Music label. Now we know who they are, what do they do and what does it sound like? There are four separate groups taking turns to lead, all displaying writing and performance akin to that of Hillsong, and similar to the Australians they benefit from recording in front of a large live vocal crowd. An accompanying DVD shows the full professionalism of the show in all its glory. Their worship certainly isn't constrained by time with a few of the songs here breaking the 10 minute mark. By the end of the first hearing I'm already reciting "I'm in love with God and God's in love with me", "My soul longs for You, nothing else will do" and "Finally I surrender", achieved by the band selecting a sole line and reciting over and over. Such activity is common throughout ensuring that the nine songs provide over an hour and a quarter of listening. Putting their best foot forward, the Onething crew have "You Love Me Forever" as the opener. Blistering guitars and an anthem-like hook line puts a marker down that Onething have arrived with a hope and a purpose and a messages that won't be easily forgotten.

Product Description
Every year 15,000 young adults gather together in downtown Kansas City between Christmas and New Year for one thing: to sit at the feet of the Lord and behold His beauty. The onething Conferences are full of passionate and energetic worship, and the live
recordings capture these powerful events on CD. The albums also include live DVD footage of each song performed in the conference.

The first Live album from the onething Conferences, Pursuit Of The Holy highlights four teams that serve at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City.

It includes Merchant Band’s You Love Me Forever, which describes the Lord’s great delight and zeal to save us from all of our circumstances. The previously unreleased My Soul Longs For You from Misty Edwards speaks of the desperation and longings of the human heart for God alone, and His answering
our thirst with the rain of His Spirit. In Luke Wood’s Picture Of Your Love, Luke sings about the faithfulness of the Lord through a beautiful melody that builds to a dynamic climax. David Brymer delivers a live version of Clay Edwards’ Restoration, proclaiming the joy God gives us in place of pain as He makes all things new.

This DVD/CD will stir your affections to passionately pursue the LORD in the beauty of His holiness and set your eyes on one thing.
