The debut album from this San Diego-based band apparently came out of a summer hiking trip that involved plenty of quiet time with God for the group's main man Glen Galloway. Returning from the trip, Galloway found time aside from his two other bands - Sumatraban and Octagrape - to go into the studio to record an album of intense songs based around one word premises that speak of his relationship with his Saviour set to a suitably powerful musical backdrop. Proceedings kick off with the thumping "Eclipse" which sees Galloway and crew advocate total reliance on God before the likes of "Tribes" and "Resurrection" follow suit. Quieter numbers like the stripped-back "Secret" and the acoustic "Sun" tone things down a bit without sacrificing the stirring nature of this release whilst the memorable "All" is an eerie approximation of what Coldplay would sound like if they were a worship band.
