I don't usually go for this kind of music, but I must admit I was impressed with this production. Paul Jones, ex-Manfred Mann (remember "5-4-3-2-1"?) and now of the Blues Band, is one of showbiz's more mature and higher profile Christians. Here he teams up with his actress wife Fiona Hendley to record an album of duets. The music is easy and relaxing, mixing slow jazz and blues, sometimes reminiscent of the West End musicals. Paul and Fiona say that the 11 songs are very personal and intimate to their relationship with each other and God. Hence the title, and they have attempted to share a relationship which they believe everybody can have. Musically, the recording is excellently put together and produced by ICC, as always, and the arrangements are smooth as silk though buffs will wince at the lacklustre Jon Gibson cover.

I heard Paul & Fiona singing an amazing song on radio London today, it was There is a Greenhill faraway to the music of House of the rising sun, I have looked everywhere and I cannot find it to listen to again, can anyone help me with this please, thanks Sally.

I met Paul and Fiona socially last wednesday night and I was prattling on about who I knew in the media and they so so graciously showed a genuine interest without mentioning their media exposure. Then last night (Friday) there they were on God TV hosting the 700 Club on UK TV! What genuine humility! From their conversation I can say a truer Christian couple I have not met. Thank you Paul & Fiona.
