As its title suggests, this single finds London-based singer/songwriter Peter Burke desiring to be free to serve God to the best of his ability. Burke has a pleasing enough voice which perfectly suits the retro jangly electric guitar-led backing - the kind the likes of Simple Minds or U2 would have used earlier on in their respective careers - and, whilst his lyrics tend to be a bit on the cluttered side, there's no doubting the man's commitment to throwing off his shackles and serving Jesus with everything he's got.
