Nothing to set the world on fire here. On the cover it says '15 Timeless hymns for worship', and yes, that's what you get: - lush piano renditions of 15 well known hymns, nothing startling in the way of arrangements except to note that the over-richness put me in mind of lace shirt-cuffs, candelabras, bouffed hair and fancy crossed-over-hands keyboard work. Yes, folks, this is hymnody, Liberace-style. I'm sorry - but there it is. Elderly enthusiasts will sing along happily. Others may injure themselves attempting to muffle laughter; most will fall asleep. Production, and presumably piano-playing is by Britain's Andy Harsant.
