Fast becoming a Greenbelt institution, witness their clamorous reception at the Big Top this year, the Brethren (singer/trumpeter Jon Elvin and singer/guitarist Crispin Holland) have the most delicate of touches, a dreamy, ethereal sound of delicate wistful ness. If Crispin continues to write songs of the quality of the four wistful oppuses here the CD will surely be on its way in due course.
