Second album from California's Point Of Recognition, which is no holds barred hardcore with tints of metal and vocals described in the biog as being "of raging fury". I sometimes struggle to reconcile this with the gospel message, particularly when the vocals are barked like a dog (thankfully the lyrics are provided), for instance how do you reconcile "raging fury" with titles like "Refuge And Strength", "Refresh Renew" and "No Regrets"? I don't get it. For me, the jury is still out on this style of music, although I have to admit that these guys do what they do very well indeed.
