Controversy, of course, surrounds this release. Doubts about the famed rap hit-maker's spiritual sincerity have been deafening. Long term Cross Rhythms readers will remember that back in CR40, long before his "Every Breath I Take" megaseller, your favourite magazine talked to Sean 'Puffy' Coombs about his gospel project. We're still awaiting the full album but here's a delicious taster from it, with guest Mario Winans delivering a delicious vocal across the lazily lugubrious beat and the man's rap, a monologue about how there was "too much sinning, gotta be more than plush living" and how he "needed help, God gave me power." A great cut... Pray for Puff Daddy.
