Gospel preacher Rodney Posey teams up once again with his 12-strong vocal ensemble Praise, to create their second worship album. It is packed full of lively and uplifting exaltation, with Posey's vocals soaring over the choral support. "A Tribute To Bishop William James" is accompanied by the more traditional organ and reflects more of a vintage style, whilst the "Worship Medley" seems endless in repetition but is actually a recording of the essence of worship with the persistent lyric "God, I love you". Cedric Thompson, who co-produced 'El Shaddai', Posey & Praise's previous release in 1999, combines forces with Rodney once again on 'A New Song Of Worship'. Raw but authentic gospel.
