Run Kid Run come from Illinois and are comprised of David Josiah Curtis (vocals/guitar), Neil Endicott (vocals/guitar), Matt Jackson (drums) and Paul Stewart (bass). They are a typical power pop/rock, boy band in the same vein as Hawk Nelson, MxPx and Sanctus Real. However, Run Kid Run are open about their Christian beliefs throughout the album. In "Rescue Me" they kick off with bouncy exuberance, "Light surrounds me/To bring forth new awakening/It was your love that rescued me/You rescue." The slick production allows David Curtis' voice to be heard clearly in the mix. For "Love At The Core" they sing with conviction "We want love/Love at the core/The cold of the flesh/Always seems to creep inside of my chest/And I need the pulse of you God/To fill these veins and touch my heart/So I can start living again." The album is radio friendly, which means that the 10 songs only last for 35 minutes and it seems to end far too soon. There doesn't seem to be any song that stands out above the crowd here and therefore it all starts to sound a tad predictable.
