If there was any sense to it all, somebody would be distributing the Myx label in this country. Scott Blackwell, the man who mixes and produces an astonishing amount of Christian dance music, has released this, his own second album. It's not quite the barnstormer that his first was, but it's still very good indeed. It packs in a full variety of current dance styles, including jackswing, breakbeat, techno and many more. The mood is generally more mellow this time, but still hugely dance-inducing. He's retained the vocal services of Sandra Stephens and Allegra Parks who worked so well for him the first time around. Stephens has also taken a hand in co-writing the best tracks, "Love Is Not A 4 Letter Word" and "You Must Surrender". What marks out all Blackwell's work is the effect of effortless class and this album will only strengthen his reputation as Christendom's true dance master mix-man.
