Songs of varying styles but held together by Scott Krippayne's smooth and powerful voice, which is well suited to the range of songs on this album, being equally at home with lightly funky pop songs and giving it big licks in the ballads, held together too by Charlie Peacock's flawless production: there is a good balance between vocals and backings (mainly keyboards, with some neat touches of guitar, and delicious backing vocals), helping the listener to concentrate on the excellent lyrics. The songs, mostly written by Krippayne himself and various collaborators, encourage and challenge the listener to devotion and trust ("Here Today", "Sometimes He Calms The Storm") and wholehearted discipleship ("Wish List", "I Will Love") - all summed up in the title track, "There is a wild imagination/At work in ordinary lives/God has a wild imagination/Come and see/Come and be surprised." The whole family enjoyed it -mum, dad, 14 year old daughter and 12 years old son. That has to be worth an extra square.

"Sometimes HE Calms the Storms" was the first song that I heard on ccm airwaves by Scott. I connected with this song immediately; great song for Scott's vocals. "All my Days" was a hit song also from this cd; another fave. I really like "Wish List"; who doesn't have one of these in life:co-written by ccm
long timer Charlie Peacock. Yes, GOD's "Wild Imaginations" really do surprise man!;great song!
"Here Today" is a song for today; it's so true.."people speak of Heaven....a day when we will walk beside
the King.." "..SOMEDAY HE'LL COME AGAIN!!.." ; this song was nice cd closer. GOD Bless! -Don
