This is Scott's second project; recorded 3 years after his first album. Scott definitely has that 70's look on his photo for the lp; no beard yet! "Rejoice" starts off side 1; it includes heartfelt lyrics that we all can relate. "Excuses" follows, and has that nice early ccm quality sound. I was kind'a disappointed that I did not see any credits for background vocalists for the album. Scott shines in the talent of his songwriting skills early in his ccm recordings. I really like "He has Returned"; great song Scott! Great vocal job for "Superstar", another lp favorite. The album title begins side 2, it is filled with a lot of truth!
"I Love You" was written by ccm vets Larry Norman & Randy Stonehill;a classic song to recall, planted in the halls of ccm history. The lp closes with a 6 1/2 minute song "Love One Another", I luv this song, thanx Scott.
