Debut single from British hip hop duo Ernest Evwaraye and Colin Thomas who work under the name Set Free. The title cut is a hard hitting exhortation in this fatherless generation. It calls for men who have fathered children to take hold of their responsibilities and stay around to raise their children. Not an easy message to get across, and yet they do it in style combining solid message with soulful hip hop vibes. The second cut "In Dayz Like These" is an end times observation that in these last days we need to focus on the things of Christ rather than the sinful culture around us. It's a slap in the face wake up call that snaps and crackles with a poppin' groove. The single is rounded off with an instrumental version of the title track. All in all, this is creative stuff with strong uncompromising messages, and so refreshing to hear a hip hop crew who have plenty to say without waffling on about themselves!
