This is the second of a trilogy of EPs that make up part of the multi-platform 'Dare To Ask' series by Israel-based singer/songwriter and devotional author Simcha Natan and, like its predecessor 'Dreaming', this EP contains four self-penned tracks aimed at helping listeners further their relationship with God - this time with the theme of being stirred into action and seizing what God has planned for us. Employing a light EDM approach, producers Jack Kircher and Pete Coggan help give Natan's already competent material the required shine making this an inventive collection of original material that delights at every turn. For instance, the optimistic opener "Fully Alive" has an accessible dance feel to it that makes for great listening and the outstanding "Illuminate" is a slice of electronic mastery that ebbs, flows and oozes confidence whilst simultaneously telling of God's universe-creating power and his desire for a personal connection with each of us. Elsewhere, the more considered "Five Stones" is a powerful cry to God for help when the odds are seemingly against us whilst the sprawling "Your Great Rescue" closes proceedings with poise. An ability to communicate God's love through song and an assured but never overbearing vocal performance help to cement another quality release from the multi-faceted Natan.
