One of a new series of karaoke CDs which enable you to sing along to your favourite Christian artist's hits, this comprises four songs taken from Stacie's previous two albums - 'Stacie Orrico' and 'Genuine'. Each song features twice - once with lead vocals and once without. It's an interesting concept for Christian albums but it does beg the question - why would anyone who hears Stacie's material (and it is clear she would easily be able to hold her own against the Spears/Aguilera axis any time) want to do karaoke to any of it? Stacie's stuff is more than good enough to be listened to and enjoyed without someone else ruining it by attempting to sing it themselves - it almost seems like an insult to her talent - her songs are not rubbish enough for starters. And another thing: surely the concept of Christian karaoke is a bit of an oxymoron - I always thought the whole point of karaoke was that you have to be boozed up and in a pub to do it and let's be honest, if that is the case, this stuff isn't exactly the kind of thing you would be singing surely...
