'To Die Is Gain' is a very appropriate title for this CD, the solo debut by the US rapper. Stephen challenges the listener about life and holy living, with Biblical references. He stirs up the listener to take the Gospel and proclaim it. He takes a look into the future with subjects like revival and tribulation. There's a tribute to the Christians who are being persecuted. It's encouraging and inspiring. There are declarations of praise and some Christ focusing thoughts. There is certainly value for money as there is a 16-minute bonus CD that is equally good. There are some great musical ideas and it's full of originality and sampling with some touches of record scratching. It's an excellent production, showing that Christian hip-hop is advancing on its journey of excellence.
