The 'Fall Down' EP was a classic of radio friendly pop rock but one ignored by the American market who financed it. So, as a stop gap release before another label deal, the new line up Steve return with this three song single (which comes with a bonus interactive track). The opener, "Cannonball", is particularly gripping with the same kind of Eastern-tinged intro which have made recent Kevin Max excursions so memorable before a clanking riff kicks in and Neil swoops elegantly over the top. Also of interest is the wistful mid tempo "I Want You" and the slow and sonorous "Higher Than I". A most impressive release from a still improving band.
