Out a couple of years but only now falling into the Cross Rhythms review net, this is a pretty good joint from a West Coast rapper without really reaching any new heights. Best cuts are probably "Get Up (Go Roll)" where some rapid delivery shows off Stikk's skills though "Life's Lesson" featuring Optimist Prime and "We Just" featuring Hozey of FBI and Cy (the rapper who had a Cross Rhythms turntable hit with "I Luvv") both have their moments. But too many of the tracks here lack strong hooks and even the most Bible-spitting rappers need accompaniments better than the simplistic drum machine and synth tracks offered here.
