A totally awesome CD of songs written for young children, recommended age three to eight years, written in a sensible, non-condescending way, sung effectively by Manchester-based Susie Poole with some really cool children doing the backing vocals. The package comes complete with a book illustrated by Susie with the words of the songs in, but it is more than a songbook, rather, a book that will be a delight to read independently. It has fun songs like "The Swinging Song" and "Jonah", and more thoughtful ones like "How Can I Tell?" and the bonus of four songs repeated as backing tracks so the kids can have a good sing. Definitely one I could've coped with on continuously in the car!
