The bass and guitar riff at the beginning of this EP's opener "Lifeline" is, in the words of my wife, "such a good start" and indeed it is. Switch is a secondary/high school ministry established by America's multi-location Life Church and this six-song set features different guest singers or rappers, one of whom Dillion Chase (six albums) is well known and does a great job on the mid-tempo closing title track. Switch specialise in hugely catchy pop clearly targeted at the young and executed skilfully by some clever producers/programmers. Two standouts are the EDM-styled "Heartbeat" and the decidedly funky "Higher And Higher". All in all, this is a very impressive debut.
