A piano-driven ballad/mid-tempo shuffle put together expertly by producer Jeff Owen for the CCM hitmakers from Florida. It really lifts when the percussion and guitars crack in though it's the soulful edge of Mike Donehey's vocal with his delicious little flurries into falsetto which keeps you returning to the song. The lyrics hit home - "When the past it comes to haunt me/It tells me what I've done/It reminds me what's gone wrong/When my sins are laid before me/My Lord, you take them on/Yes, my Lord, you take them on" followed by the sweeping chorus, "So if I fail and if I fall/I will trust your mercy is/Greater than all of this. . . You are greater than all my regrets/You are greater than all my regrets." Powerful stuff.
