A compilation largely culled from Terry's 1984 album 'Living Worship' and 1986 album 'Let's Worship' topped up with tracks from a couple of later albums. I like Terry's smokey, soul-tinged voice while his worship songs, though a trifle samey make a most acceptable offering. If you've yet to catch up on Terry this could be a good place to start.

Lord may your name be glorified

In the land of Tennyson, Banyan

Dickens and Swift

Not all is well and with people’s rights

Things are going adrift

Authority to Christians not given enough

Weak to help defend,

People on others who depend.

Lord we know our voice you will hear

As your children draw near -

Stay, stay they pray.

“Never again”, generations before said;

“Never, never to forget”

And yet on ear things fall deaf.

Never, never again for our neighbour

Such grief and some hopes

Turning into vapour…

“Hear, hear our voice

From the rooftop

As heavens rejoice”

We will not let our neighbour

Have their hopes turned

Into vapour…

Beseeching whilst something

Their rights is breaching;

Their rights our rights.

New dawn on the horizon

Yesterday’s battles won

Now some want us to forget

And let, the dust on them set…

In our heart your Son lives

For the one who believes

Knows time* is like many thieves.

*time of persecution

i've heard the songs I am yours, let's worship and dear Lord about 15 years ago on an old tape without knowing who was the singer. But i can tell one thing, i've been touched by the deep words of these songs and very often with the pianist of the church, we sang these songs in english even if we use to sing in french.

what album contains the song: "Hear my cry, O Lord"? It might be from the Maranatha Singers collection with Terry Clark

I've been searching for this SONG I AM YOURS FOR A LONG TIME NOW do not know the Man that sang IT But the lerics go like this.
LORD MAKE ME A VESSAL, OF YOUR WORD & YOUR WILL
SPEAK YOUR WORDS THROUGH THESE LIPS
YOUR OWN WORDS OF LIFE
LET THEM HEAL THE BROKEN HEARTED
LORD MAKE ME A SERVANT
I'LL WAIT ON YOU HAND & FOOT
DRAW ME CLOSE LET ME KNOW YOU
LET ME TOUCH YOUR HEART
LET ME BE YOUR PRIZE CREATION
I AM YOURS I AM YOURS

But the Lerics start of like this.
LORD MAKE ME A VESSAL
Speak your words through these lips
Let them heal the Broken Hearted

Tonight our Youth minister of music sang this old song "I am yours" by Terry.
It always touches my heart.
I would love to have this song on my page on my space.
How do I go about doing that? Thanks
Diane

Hey Diane!
I like the song, "I am yours" too. Did you get the song on your myspace page? Another song I like is about two forever friends who have not heard from each other for years because they lost touch. Then a miracle happens and the one friend locates the other one and writes to say she's proud of her. Can't think of the title but the chorus has the word Nut in it. Like, the nut doesn't fall far from the tree or something like that, only more cliche'ish. If you think of the song title, please let me know. K?

I love, love, LOVE! this CD! I bought the tape years ago just before i was to be married and listened to it EVERYDAY AND NIGHT! My local Christian radio station stopped playing Terry's music and I was missing it terribly. God bless he and his family and his team!!! De LandaBOWL

I like brother Terry for his worship music. May the Lord Bless him. His voice makes souls come to Jesus before. I would like his first collections, especially which he sang "Change my Heart Oh Lord, make it ever true" God bless you.
