This is a refreshing mixture of old hymns, typical gospel choir fare and some funky urban grooves from a rather appropriately named outfit from the Cathedral Of The Holy Spirit, Decatur, Georgia.  If there are only a dozen other choirs like this in the USA, then the future of gospel music is safe.  Good production (the Cathedral has a “live” acoustic that adds to the atmosphere), enthusiastic singers (unfortunately a little ragged in places) and sparse but effective arrangements add up to an album that is no worse than most gospel choir albums I’ve heard and considerably better than some.

I am a former member of the Firebrand youth choir. I would like to thank everyone for the love and support that we have received throughout the years. And as far the the comments from Mr. Kirk, thank you. I think for a group of young people, we do more than you would ever imagine.

Hello Sheila,
If you want to purchase Firebrand music, check out the website of our church,
Hopefully there you can find information on purchasing firebrand music.
We have 3 CD's as well as cassette tapes, VHS concerts of our 3 cd's as well as the reunion tape. Please enjoy...we worked hard to do what we do.

Former Firebrand member
