Having only been playing shows since 2006, The Great Transparency sound like a band with a togetherness often associated with working together for far greater years. Hitting the pop-punk nail right on the head, TGT's sound could be described as anywhere between New Found Glory and You Me At Six. Brilliantly evocative of a genre, yet cannily original at the same time; 'If Worse Comes To Worst' is a gem. In a world where young people are bombarded with negativity at a time when life is difficult for everyone, this Ohio-based foursome offer songs of hope and encouragement. With five well crafted songs, The Great Transparency have created an EP dripping in relevance. "Run For It" encourages you to reach for your dreams, "Don't You Ever" tells you to never give up, and if things have reached a low while the title track invites us to take the truth of God's love and "make it your own".
