Here’s a value-for-money item you might want to search out. 10 tracks of punchy pop rock by a band who impressed when they played Ireland’s Infusion festival a couple of years back. There’s some gutsy guitar work from David Patton and vocalist Rachel Cutts is a pretty convincing rock singer. Songs too are hooky without being ultra-memorable. Rachel has now relocated from Ireland to Stoke-on-Trent (she’s a Cross Rhythms worker, no less!), leaving the band on a kind of permanent sabbatical. But she and her fellow musicians leave behind a pretty convincing album of Jesus-honouring pop rock which for a fiver is surely worth sending off for.
